ViaPlus’s Sightline image-review system supported more than 457 million video-toll transactions in Texas during the first half of 2026.

The transactions were processed for nine local transport agencies whose licence-plate images are reviewed through the ViaPlus platform. Video tolling enables vehicles without a detected electronic transponder to be identified and invoiced from images of their registration plates. Image-review systems are used to validate these transactions, including images that cannot be processed automatically, to support revenue collection on free-flow toll roads.

ViaPlus said consistent processing of transponder and video transactions was necessary to maintain the accuracy and efficiency of free-flow operations. The company also reported that its new multi-lane free-flow system at Daulatpura on India’s Delhi–Jaipur Expressway had processed more than one million vehicle transactions since opening in June.

The Daulatpura installation uses India’s FASTag electronic tolling system alongside automatic number-plate recognition, vehicle detection and classification equipment, ViaPlus’s Alpha back-office platform and Sightline image-review technology. ViaPlus, a subsidiary of VINCI Highways, said its systems facilitate more than four billion transport transactions annually.
